EATON CANYON "GREEN STORAGE" GRANT APPROVED

January 12, 2010—The Board of Supervisors approved an $18,000 grant from the Pasadena Community Foundation to the Department of Parks and Recreation to convert two cargo containers into “green” storage spaces for the nursery at Eaton Canyon Nature Center, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

Eaton Canyon Natural Area, supervised and maintained by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, is a 190-acre zoological, botanical, and geological wonderland situated at the base of the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains.
